Functional/Combat Fitness Training
Fitness is key to all effective self-defence, and so much more – Functional/Combat Fitness goes a long way to allowing you to live a long, healthy, and active life! As a strategy for well-being the higher your functional fitness the less prone you will be to a range of illness, injury, and disease – particularly illnesses associated with being over-weight.
When it comes to self-defence, you could have all the skills in the world, but if you are not fit enough to execute your moves, then escape; or evade your attacker in the first place, you are working with only half your capabilities.
Working all major muscle groups and your core – Functional/Combat Fitness Training will make you leaner, stronger, fitter, and more resistant to physical, mental, and emotional stress.
Working in small groups, with people of similar fitness levels to yourself our Training Sessions are fun!
Training Fees and Options
- 30 minute Training: £15.00
- 60 minute Training: £25.00
- Block Booking: £100.00
(5 Training Sessions for the cost of 4)
- Group Bookings: £10.00 per person per hour

- What do I need to bring or wear?
Just loose clothing a tracksuit would be ideal.
- Am I too old to participate in Functional Fitness training?
No, you are never too old to train; we work at a pace that suits you.
- Do I have to be fit?
No, Functional/Combat Fitness is all about supporting and developing improved overall fitness.
- I have an injury can I still take part in?
Yes, but you will need, to let Damien know. If you have a serious injury a letter from your GP to say that you are safe to participate.
